Composed the music for Yellow Light Project campaign

“Make a Video. Win a Prize. Save a Life.” Is the slogan for the Yellow Light Project campaign: a video competition designed to encourage a change of attitude among young drivers in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is based on “Project Yellow Light” created by the parents of Hunter Garner, a teenager who died in the US in a traffic accident in 2007. The participants, aged between 18 and 30, and residing in Latin America and the Caribbean, are summoned to produce short videos (25 or 55 seconds) to encourage your generation to drive safely.

The project is partnered by MTV Latin America, IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) and the International Automobile Federation (Region IV).

“Tierra de Pagatones” World Premier at the San Diego Surf Film Festival 2014

Very happy to announce that “Tierra de Patagones”, a surf film by Gauchos Del Mar, has been selected for it’s world premiere at the San Diego Surf Film Festival next May 7-10th, 2014.

About: “Rainbows, penguins and dolphins, oh my! A glimpse into the world premier of TIERRA DE PATAGONES / LAND OF PATAGONES by Julian & Joaquin Azulay of Gauchos del Mar. In this film, the gauchos del mar pursue their goal of surfing at one of the southernmost areas of the world: Staten Island. They travel with a truck and live in a tent across the Argentinean and Chilean Patagonia during six months, where they share their experiences with native people. They then fight against the harsh weather conditions to reach Ushuaia. There, they get onto a boat and sail through the Beagle Channel, across the Straight of Le Maire, which is one of the most dangerous seas in the world, to get to the uninhabited island.”
